The
Royal Naval Association and The Town Council Pembroke Dock held a
Commemorative Service for the anniversary of The Battle of Trafalgar by
the grave of Captain Cumby who fought in that great battle. First
Lieutenant Cumby as he was when the battle started took command of HMS
Bellerephon when her captain, Captain John Cook fell mortally wounded
and fought his ship to the end. Later Captain Cumby became Captain of
Pembroke Dock Dockyard |
