On June 1^st Peter Kraus (our Mayor) paid a visit to Apley Lodge Pembroke Dock to see A lady on her 101st Birthday.

Florence May Cooper Born 1/6/1911 in Birmingham, moved to Shrewsbury during the war & ran a guest house for the Military & also looked after her two young children on her own, after the war she was domestic Superintendant for the Shropshire Hospitals. She was married to David Reg Cooper who died in 1980, she came to Pembrokeshire 25 years ago to help her daughter run a hotel in Tenby.
